Women’s Bespoke Overcoats in Bangkok

Starting at 13,500 THB

A bespoke overcoat should be designed around where and how it will be worn. Class Bespoke considers the intended destination, underlying layers, preferred length and silhouette before developing the coat’s shoulder, body, sleeve and closure.

Single-breasted, double-breasted, belted, longline and shorter structured directions may be discussed alongside lapels, pockets and lining. Cloth composition, warmth and availability must be confirmed from the selected swatch; final price depends on cloth, design, construction and garment requirements.

Details

An overcoat must preserve its intended silhouette while accommodating the garments beneath it. A coat planned for a suit jacket needs different ease through the shoulders, chest, sleeves and armholes from one worn mainly over a shirt, dress or knitwear.

Single-breasted and double-breasted fronts, belted or unbelted forms, coat length, lapel scale, pocket placement and lining are selected around the destination and wardrobe. A long coat may offer greater coverage, while a shorter structured form can be easier for movement and travel. Oversized styling should still have controlled balance, sleeve length and closure.

Wool, cashmere, blended, patterned and other cloth directions may be considered only when present in the current selection. An image cannot verify fibre composition or warmth. Review the actual label, weight, weave and handle in the fabric collection before confirming the commission.

Fittings

Clients should bring or wear representative layers whenever practical. The fitting reviews shoulder allowance, chest and bust room, waist shaping where required, back balance, arm movement, sleeve length, coat length and front closure over the intended garments.

The coat should close without pulling and allow the wearer to sit, walk and reach comfortably, while avoiding unnecessary volume when worn as planned. Belt position, pocket access and hem movement are also reviewed. Fitting requirements depend on the design, cloth, construction, client history, adjustments required and available schedule.

Timeframe

Overcoat production timing varies with cloth availability, construction, length, lining, design complexity and the fitting work required for layering. There is no single turnaround for every overcoat, so the delivery date is confirmed for each commission.

Clients commissioning a coat for travel should share the destination, departure date and intended layers before ordering. Half- and full-canvas work is not offered as a 24-hour service.

Final price depends on the selected cloth, design, construction and garment requirements.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Why commission an overcoat in Bangkok?

The commissioning location and wearing climate are separate considerations. A client may plan a coat in Bangkok for international travel or a colder destination. The destination, layers and schedule should guide the specification.

Should the fitting include my suit jacket or knitwear?

Yes, where practical. Representative layers help establish shoulder, chest, armhole, sleeve and closure allowance more accurately.

Can a women’s overcoat be single-breasted, double-breasted or belted?

All three directions may be discussed. The appropriate form depends on the intended silhouette, cloth, layering and use.

Does a photograph prove that a coat is wool or cashmere?

No. Fibre composition cannot be verified from appearance. The actual cloth label, swatch and availability must be checked before ordering.

How should I choose coat length?

Consider the wearer’s proportions, intended clothing, coverage, movement, destination and travel needs. Length should be decided as part of the complete coat rather than from a trend label alone.

How long does a bespoke overcoat take?

There is no verified universal turnaround. Cloth availability, construction, length, lining, complexity, fittings and adjustments all affect the schedule.

Is the displayed starting price final?

No. The final quotation depends on the selected cloth, design, construction and garment requirements.
