A Bangkok tailoring appointment can fit into a short trip, but the right amount of time depends on the garment, construction, cloth availability and the fittings required. The useful planning question is not simply “How fast can a suit be made?” It is whether your schedule leaves enough room to choose the specification, assess the garment on your body and make any necessary refinements.
This guide explains how to plan a Bangkok suit commission around standard or fused, half-canvas and full-canvas construction without treating any range as a guaranteed deadline.
Start with the Construction, Not a Universal Deadline
Class Bespoke uses different planning ranges for different jacket constructions. Standard or fused construction is generally discussed around 3–5 days, half canvas around 5–10 days, and full canvas around 15–30 days. Eligible pre-arranged basic or fused rush work may sometimes be possible in approximately 24 hours.
These are planning ranges, not unconditional completion guarantees. Cloth availability, garment quantity, design, current workshop capacity, appointment timing, fitting availability and the adjustments identified during a fitting can all change the schedule. Confirm the specific order before arranging travel around it.
For a 3–5 Day Bangkok Visit
A standard or fused suit may be feasible when the order is discussed in advance and the client can attend appointments at the required times. Visit near the start of the Bangkok stay, not on the final afternoon. Share arrival and departure dates before the first consultation and keep part of the itinerary flexible for a fitting or refinement.
A tight schedule may limit the appropriate construction or cloth choice. It should not be presented as proof that every garment can be completed in the same number of days. If the selected specification cannot be fitted responsibly within the available dates, discuss a different plan before cutting begins.
For Half Canvas or a Longer Stay
Half-canvas work is generally planned around 5–10 days. A longer visit gives more room to coordinate construction and fittings without placing every stage against a departure deadline. It can also be useful when commissioning several garments or when the client is new and the fitting requirements are not yet known.

For Full Canvas
Full-canvas construction is generally planned around 15–30 days and is not guaranteed within 15 days. It therefore suits clients who have a longer Bangkok window, can return for appointments, or can establish an agreed plan that reflects the actual commission.
Do not choose full canvas merely because it sounds more prestigious. Structure, climate, budget, intended use and available time should guide the decision. A simpler construction can be the more practical choice for a short visit or a lighter garment.
Why Fittings Need Space in the Itinerary
Measurements establish a starting point, but a fitting shows how the garment balances and moves on the body. The tailor may need to review shoulder line, collar position, sleeve pitch, jacket balance, trouser position, length and ease of movement.
There is no responsible universal fitting count for every order. The garment, construction, whether the client is new or returning, and the adjustments required all affect the sequence. Review the bespoke process and ask what appointments should be protected in your calendar.
What About a 24-Hour Suit?
Eligible basic or fused rush work may sometimes be possible in approximately 24 hours when it is arranged and confirmed in advance. That does not make 24-hour completion universally available, and it should not be used as the expected schedule for half-canvas or full-canvas construction.
Tell the tailor the real deadline, garment requirement and occasion. If a rush order is feasible, confirm the cloth, construction, fitting opportunity and what happens if further adjustment is needed before committing.
Wedding Parties and Multiple Garments Need More Coordination
A wedding group involves several individual measurements, garments, appointments and final checks. For pre-arranged groups of approximately 10–20 people, Class Bespoke recommends planning to be available in Bangkok for about five days or more before the garments are required. This is planning guidance, not a guaranteed five-day completion promise.

Can the Finished Suit Be Delivered After You Leave?
Worldwide delivery of completed garments can be arranged after the required Bangkok consultation, measurements and fittings. Destination, charges and timing are confirmed per order. This should not be confused with an unverified remote first-order process based only on measurements sent from abroad.
If delivery may be needed, discuss it before ordering and confirm when the final fitting or approval will occur.
A Practical Bangkok Tailoring Schedule
- Before travelling: share dates, garment requirements, preferred construction if known, and the occasion.
- At the start of the Bangkok stay: complete consultation, cloth selection and measurements.
- During the stay: keep the agreed fitting windows available and avoid placing every appointment immediately before another flight or tour.
- Before collection: assess balance, comfort, sleeve and trouser length, movement and finishing.
- If delivery is required: confirm the completed-garment delivery plan, charges and destination.
